What's the beef...

Only in America some might say, but the latest from the US involves a 56-year-old woman being arrested on a charge that she pegged a man in the forehead with a package of frozen meat.

Police responded after learning that the woman, Jacqueline Knight, and a male acquaintance were fighting over personal property, a report from Hampton Police Cpl. Allison Good stated.

During the struggle, police said, Knight grabbed the frozen meat and threw it at her 56-year-old adversary. The meat struck him in the head, leaving a gash across his forehead, Good said.

The man was taken to hospital for stitches to close the wound and Knight was booked into a prison cell on a charge of felonious assault.
