Ingredients firm takes on food expert

Food expert Richard Wilson has joined the Midlands-based firm as part of its ambitious business growth plans and his new role sees him offering support on product formulations and production methods used at both BHJ UK's Tipton headquarters and its Danish parent company.

Additionally, Wilson will be responsible for conducting factory trials at sites throughout the UK and reporting on industry trends and new product applications.

Richard Parnell, sales director at BHJ UK said: "We see Richard's

appointment as the next piece of the strategic jigsaw. His experience in the food sector is extremely impressive and we're confident he'll add considerable value to our business, helping us enhance existing ranges and develop new products for market."

Previously employed by food manufacturer Tranfield of Cumbria Ltd, Wilson has over a decade's experience in the food manufacturing sector, with particular expertise in the highly skilled areas of flavour and product development.

He said: "It's great to be joining a team which is well-respected and

renowned for innovation and quality.

"I'm really looking forward to getting out on the road, getting to know the staff at the different plants and meeting the customers whose successful partnerships with BHJ give it the unrivalled reputation it enjoys today."
