Anitox strengthens UK team
A leading feed safety ingredient manufacturer is aiming to further improve hygiene and efficiency in the food chain.
Anitox has appointed Simon Carlton as sales manager for the UK, Ireland and Denmark to beef up its UK-based team and support plans for continued growth worldwide.
Carlton will be drawing on extensive experience in monogastric nutrition, breeding and housing to develop the market potential in the swine industry as well as the poultry industry.
Carlton, who is responsible for sales and business development across the UK, Ireland and Denmark, said: "I'm looking forward to working with the integrators and compounders to deliver a range of feed safety products, including Termin-8 and the milling efficiency programme."
A qualified marketer, he previously spent eight years with leading monogastric feed company ABN, initially as head of the pig nutrition sales team and latterly looking after both pig and poultry feed sales.
He has also worked in the Danish pig industry, in Australasia and with the world leading pig genetics company PIC.
Roger Mann, regional director for Anitox in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, added: "I'm very pleased to welcome Simon to the business and wish him every success in his new role. His significant experience in the pig sector will be of great value as we look to develop our business in this sector over the next few years."
Carlton will also be working on Anitox's exhibition presence at the British Pig and Poultry Fair 2008 and would welcome the opportunity to meet visitors at the event on the 13 and 14 May 2008.
