Golfers to raise cash for BDCI

 - Published:  15 August, 2007

Budding golfers will be in with a chance of showing off their skills while raising cash for charity, thanks to the Towers Thompson Golf Day.

The event, taking place on 5 October at Surrey Downs Golf Club, Kingswood, Surrey, is in aid of the Butchers & Drovers Charitable Institution.

Teeing off at 11am, up to 90 players from across the industry will be competing for the best score of the day, nearest the pin, the longest drive and a number of other titles.

Following the golf, a dinner will be held and prizes handed out. All monies raised will go towards the BDCI. For more information and places, contact Sue Thurlow on 01992 473633.
