Cliff edges towards bpex executive post

ANGELA CLIFF has joined the British Pig Executive (BPEX). She has come from pig genetics company JSR Genetics. Her responsibilities will include building links to all UK AI companies, promoting an audit protocol and reference lab system that will monitor the quality of the AI arriving on-farm. Angela, who has been in the pig industry all her working life, will be liaising with producers, producer groups and veterinary practices to share best breeding herd management practice information. She also aims to help pig producers achieve an extra two pigs sold per sow per year.

globetrotter John takes top multisorb post

MULTISORB, manufacturer of sorbent, desiccant and oxygen absorbing technologies, has announced the appointment of Mark Celmer as chief executive. Mark is also president. Chairman John Cullen said: "Mark has helped significantly expand our global presence. I have great confidence that he will enable Multisorb to further develop innovative technologies and deliver outstanding service to our customers worldwide.
