Yearsley adds to its cold capacity
Yearsley Group has acquired two businesses from Celsius First's Administrators.
The acquisitions will increase the cold storage capacity of Yearsley Group by over 50 per cent. Incorporated in the deal are a number of large, managed distribution contracts including one from Hams Hall near Birmingham.
Yearsley managing director Harry Yearsley said: "The acquisition strengthens Yearsley Group's share of the cold storage and distribution market. "Adding these sites ensures the highest levels of customer service are maintained."
He said the initial plan is to operate the sites as usual, integrating the businesses over a managed period of time.
"This will ensure that the transition is as smooth as possible," he said.
