Northern Foods completes sale

Northern Foods has announced it has completed the sale of its speciality bread, chilled pastry, cakes and flour milling businesses to Vision Capital Ltd.

The agreement to sell the assets to funds advised by Vision Capital was announced on 22 November 2006 and was approved by the company's shareholders at EGM of shareholders on 9 January 2007.
