Praise for CIEH
FOOD SAFETY experts praised a new food safety qualification launched by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH).
Professor Eunice Taylor, who led the development team that created Safer Food, Better Business, while on secondment with the Food Standards Agency, applauded the body for its professional response to the recent amendments to food safety legislation, expected to affect 400,000 small and medium sized catering businesses.
"The new CIEH qualification reinforces the CIEH's ongoing commitment to food safety and public health, and is a powerful tool in the prevention of food-borne illness."
