E.coli outbreak spreads to Ireland

A further case of the deadly E.coli infection, linked to Morrisons stores in Scotland has been discovered in the Republic of Ireland.
Health officials at a Glasgow press conference said a woman had been taken to hospital in Ireland after she had eaten cold meat from one of two stores in Paisley.
A 66-year-old disabled woman has died and her husband is seriously ill following the outbreak of E.coli O157.
The new case is the eighth victim of the infection linked to the stores in Lonend and Falside Road.
Officials said it was still "early days" so could not yet say whether the outbreak was over.
