 - Published:  27 June, 2007

Hensons Foodservice has been awarded a two-year contract with the Clapham House Group to supply the 15-strong Tootsies Restaurant chain with a variety of meat products.

The contract, worth £7m, includes fresh butchery, delicatessen, quality frozen products and chef's ingredients. Many of the products supplied are made specifically for the restaurant chain.

"We have been associated with Tootsies Restaurants as a supplier for six years and we are looking forward to working closely with the Clapham House Group to develop the business further in the months ahead," said Julian Burgess, Hensons' sales director.

"We specialise in providing a bespoke multi-temperature service to our contract clients with one order, one invoice and one delivery."

Purchasing director for the Clapham House Group, Nabil Mankarious, said: "The quality of the food we buy and serve across all the brands is our top priority. Hensons has a proven track record in this regard."
