Pattie range launched
A new range of handmade meat, fish and vegetarian patties has been launched by specialist producers Original Fusion Foods, based in Sutton Coldfield, aimed at the snack, foodservice and convenience foods markets.
Using family recipes developed over generations and influenced by migration from India to the Caribbean and into Europe, the patties come ready baked, chilled or frozen. Filled with the highest quality ingredients and locally sourced, halal meat, flavours in the range are both delicately spiced and moderately hot, making a tasty, authentic alternative to the British pasty that looks and tastes homemade.
The Original Fusion Foods range currently comprises four varieties: a traditional lamb pattie containing approximately 36% Staffordshire lamb; a chicken pattie made using whole spices and a substantial 40% meat content and a superior fish pattie, boasting a combination of wild, red Pacific salmon from sustainable stocks, three kinds of pepper and special recipe fried potato.
A vegetable pattie featuring locally sourced vegetables and black-eye beans in a spicy massala sauce completes the range.
