Riverside Food Services, processors of premium quality poultry, frozen chicken, pre-cooked chicken, fresh turkey and Halal poultry has appointed Angus Dudgeon, 43, as its new sales director based at its depot in Powys, Wales.
His responsibilities will include taking ownership of the existing frozen strategy and devising and implementing the company's new chilled strategy.
Dudgeon said he aimed to meet steep targets by increasing product sales in both frozen and chilled sectors over the coming three years to correlate with the producers current expansion plans in Croatia.
Additional responsibilities include management, development and training of the sales team, implementation of an on-going robust customer contact strategy, maximising customer service levels throughout account management and field sales.
Bonita Smith has also been appointed Riverside Service's new operations director. Previously, she has worked as national account manager at Riverside, managing the sales and distribution of the company's premium frozen poultry range. Smith will continue to be based at Riverside's depot in Powys, Wales but her new role as operations director will be focused on developing its chilled business.
