Show to highlight small producers

Some of the UK best meat and poultry producers from across the UK and Ireland will be on display at the inaugural Real Food Festival.

More than 400 producers are to be handpicked for the festival by a careful selection panel to ensure quality and integrity, with smaller producers offered a subsidy to attend.

The organisers claim that many of the producers will have not been seen before making Real Food, which runs from the 24-27 April at Earls Court, London, a festival of discovery.

Some of those exhibiting include game meat suppliers, Game for Everything, pork specialist Sillield Farm Products and the Thoroughly Wild Meat Company.

A dedicated trade day will be held on 24 April, with tickets costing £20, which includes entrance to the show, a gala evening and sampling and taste workshops.
