Meat producers gear up for south west show
Meat producers from the South West will gather at the Exeter Festival of South West England Food and Drink to show the best of the region's produce.
The festival, which is being held between 30 March and 1 April at Northernhay Gardens, Exeter, is open to trade and the public and exhibitors this year include Westaways Sausages, Happy Hogs Ltd and Somerset Ducks.
In total, more than 100 food and drink companies are exhibiting and there will be a beer and wine section featuring local ales and ciders.
New for 2007 is the cookery theatre, where celebrity chefs such as Hugh Fearnley- Whittingstall will show visitors how to prepare the best of the region's produce.
