World Food Market for ExCel
Covering the entire scope of ethnic and speciality foods the World Food Market 2006 returns to London's ExCel from 29-30 November.
Covering the entire scope of ethnic and speciality foods, from Oriental and Mexican to European and Caribbean, the World Food Market 2006 returns to London's ExCel from 29-30 November.
The event will showcase a range of regional and gourmet specialities. The centrepiece of the show will be a live World Kitchen where a dozen chefs, including chef Dennis Mwakulua, will cook a roast belly of pork with sweet potato and tamarind.
Next month's show also marks the return of halal and kosher exhibitions, which will look at the latest product innovations in these two growing sectors.
Masood Khawaja, president of the Halal Food Authority, said the show is key to educating food manufacturers and butchers on EU food safety laws and Islamic rules. "It plays an important role in bringing the Halal market together with the mainstream market to the benefit of the industry."range
