BACKING FOR NSA SHEEP

NSA Sheep 2006, the industry's biennial initiative to be staged at the Three Counties Show Ground, Malvern in August, has received support from major industry players.

Agri-Lloyd has agreed to be the major sponsor and EBLEX and Shearwell Data will be the mainline sponsors. The working demonstration areas will be sponsored by the Environment Agency, Intervet and Tornado Wire. "We're pleased to sponsor the event particularly at a time when prospects for the 2006/07 lamb crop are looking more positive," said Agri-Lloyd's Scott Shearer.

"A rise in domestic consumption coupled with strong export demand is set to bring a welcome lift to farmgate prices, and ultimately boost farmers' overall income. NSA Sheep 2006 will provide all producers with an opportunity to discuss and consider the latest industry developments."
