Tesco leads the charge for Taste of Scotland

TESCO WILL host Enjoy the Taste of Scotland for the first time at The Hub, Edinburgh, from April 21-23. Tesco's chairman, David Reid, will open the event with Scottish Food and Drink to the press and key industry figures.

 

The event features over 60 Scottish food and drink producers exhibiting "the best" from Scotland's larder.  Exhibitors will include Baxter's, Tunnock's and Mackie's and small speciality producers such as Rannoch Smokery, Tilly Confectionery and Castle MacLellan.

There will be 10 themed ­areas, including dairy, healthy eating, meat, seafish, fresh produce, confectionery, ice creams, delicatessen, grocery and frozen. There will also be a Tesco 'celebrity kitchen' where famous chefs will impart their words of wisdom along with practical tips and techniques on creating the perfect dish.

Tickets for the celebrity kitchen are free and can be collected on a first-come, first-served basis.
