Reiser signs deal with Repak

The move sees Reiser's UK arm act as sales agent for Repak packaging machines in the UK market.

Reiser began representing Repak in the USA and Canada in 2003 and the new agreement extends the co-operation between Reiser and Repak to the UK market, effective July, 2008.

Peter Mellon, MD of Reiser UK, said: "We initiated our business co-operation with Repak in mid-2003. The performance, reliability and quality of Repak packaging machines have greatly impressed both us and our customers in the US and Canada. These qualities convinced us to deepen our business relationship with Repak in the UK."

Repak, based in Emmen, the Netherlands, specialises in the manufacture of horizontal form/fill/seal packaging machines for the meat, poultry, seafood, cheese and prepared food industries. Its equipment is fully customisable and available in a variety of models for applications of all sizes. It can produce flexible, semi-rigid, vacuum, modified-atmosphere, and vacuum skin packages.
