Extra support at Double D

Double D Food Engineering has appointed Vincent Glennon to the newly created post of after market manager.

Working alongside Double D's service manager Peter Kain, Glennon will be a key contact in managing day-to-day aspects of customer support the company said.

Double D said it has also invested in new management information systems aimed at improving service planning, response times and delivery.

Bob Petrie, Double D's managing director, said: "Vincent's appointment is part of our strategy to add value to the Double D proposition in providing shorter lead times, more timely responses to enquiries and increased overall customer satisfaction."

Glennon was formerly technical services manager for Teknek, a yield improvement provider for the electronics industry based near Glasgow.
