Meat production company Adams Pork products has improved productivity at its pork processing site in Frampton, Lincolnshire, following the installation of a new Schroeder Imax injector from Interfood Technology.

Geo Adams, which began as a Lincolnshire butcher's shop almost a century ago, has now grown into a large supplier of pastry, sausage and pork products, with six manufacturing sites throughout Lincolnshire.

The company's Frampton site focuses on pork production and the investment in the Schroeder Imax system has improved injection rates, precision and productivity, according to the company.

The injectors feature an MMI interface, with a touchscreen to monitor the curing and processing data, and can inject specific muscles to increase yield.

Andy Hills, director of Adams Pork Products, said he was happy with the injector

and the service provided by Interfood Technology: "For us, technical support and back-up is vital and, in that capacity, Interfood has become one of our most valued suppliers."
