Big draw for Marel arm

IFFA proved a big success for AEW Delfords, part of the Marel Food Systems group.

Speaking at the show, Simon Thelwall, northern sales manager, said the company had generated more than 1,000 leads from the show and even taken some orders on the stand.

AEW Delfords was demonstrating two complete slicing lines, featuring a variety of equipment, both from AEW Delfords itself and from the wider Marel Food Systems group.

Star performers included the IPL Robot and the PolySlicer 3000 Vision, which incorporates a new vision system to provide increased cutting accuracy. Also on show was the WPL8500 Weigh Price Labeller, designed for crated or boxed products up to 600mm long and 27kg in weight, and with speeds of up to 35 a minute.
