Ultra 26 brings forming unit into the 21st century

 - Published:  25 May, 2007

Leading slicers, dicers and former specialist Formax was demonstrating its new Ultra 26, which has been launched to replace the original F26 forming machine, with which the company founded its business.

Chris Moss-Sutton, European sales manager, said the new version was about bringing the machine into the 21st century, offering a more hygienic and faster operation. "The F26 has always been our bread-and-butter machine, so we're anticipating a lot of interest for the Ultra 26," he said, adding that demonstrations of the machine in Atlanta had generated

interest in the US poultry sector.

The company had picked up a lot of positive enquiries, particularly from eastern Europe and South America, he said.
