Praise for the organisation of IFE and Pro2Pac
was widespread, with most exhibitors agreeing that the event was well-run.
But one exhibitor, Ian Woodward of PFM Packaging Machinery had a complaint that may have chimed with many other exhibitors: only one parking pass was allocated per stand. PFM had four staff manning the stall and had to pay £21 per day for each additional pass.
"Overall it was very good, but we really could have done with more free car park passes," he said.
Other than that one irritation, Pro2Pac was a worthwhile event for PFM, which supplies packaging machinery and servicing to large manufacturers.
"We had quite a high volume of enquiries," said Woodward, "but the quality still remains to be seen. We will know by the autumn."
