Launch of new automated barrier

One of the UK's longest-established suppliers of automated gates and barriers, has launched the Bayt 980 electro-hydraulic barrier.

A combination of durability, efficiency and ease of installation makes the Bayt 980 barrier suitable for a wide range of commercial and industrial uses, says BPT.

Durability comes from a revised counter-balance assembly, incorporated into the barrier, which compresses the coils rather than stretches them, dramatically extending their life.

Other efficiency-driven features include: a revised piston and motor assembly, which does away with inter-connecting pipework; hydraulic braking in both the raise and lower operation; and an option for beams with pre-punched holes to accommodate the new LED indicators. LEDs can be set in flash or constant modes.
