Sheffield Lord Mayor opens new business

 - Published:  08 March, 2007

The Lord Mayor of Sheffield, councillor Jackie Drayton, officially opened Hygienic Plastics Ltd for business on Wednesday last week.

The Lord Mayor spent a little over an hour with the company and joined in a toast to their success.

A spokesman for Hygienic Plastics said the Lord Mayor was most enthusiastic about the opening of a new company within the city and was highly complimentary of the company and its ambitions.

The new company has a wealth of experience in the supply of hygienic wall and ceiling cladding.

The two new directors, Peter Wallace and Martin Furniss started the new company to offer an exceptional service to all food producing businesses to ensure compliance with the new EU food hygiene regulations.

The spokesman said cladding provided a much improved working environment and was easier to keep clean.

Its application is suited to areas where a good hygienic environment is essential.
