Modular Automation
International is offering free consultations to manufacturers to help them design better assembly and automation lines.
Manufacturers can send their staff to Modular's factory in Birmingham to discuss new designs with senior members of the team. The aim is to identify design features that could have an impact on future production.
"We want to get together with manufacturers when they're designing new products," said Modular's operations manager Mark Higgins. "Often, small details can make an enormous difference to equipment and production costs later on."
Mark Hendry, sales manager, said: "We do aim to forge
new business relationships, but
no one will be under any obligation to place work with us after the consultation."
