Packaging Machinery Plant Expansion
Norwich-based Redpack Packaging Machinery is planning "a significant factory expansion programme" as sales grow strong.
The company recently sold one supermarket-supplying manufacturer 16 flow-wrapping machines, and believes EU legislation, which demands a reduction of waste and widespread recycling will increase sales further in the coming years.
As biodegradable packaging materials are introduced to the market, Redpack believes the production lines will have to change. "This is expected to create further demand for the company's designs and engineering skills," said Redpack.
