Fast response switches

The new Convir DL series from Calex Electronics is a range of high-temperature fast response non-contact infrared temperature switches. Typical uses include monitoring the opening and closing of oven doors.

Two models are available in this series: the DL-14 has a temperature range of 400ºC to 1,400ºC and the DL-15 has a range of 700ºC to 1,500ºC. They measure with an accuracy of up to 0.75% of reading, and offer an outstanding repeatability of better than 0.3%.

Both models have an ultra-fast response time. The DL series, made of stainless steel, are sealed to IP65. They can operate in ambient temperatures up to 50ºC without the need for cooling, and in higher temperatures, with optional air- and water-cooled housings.
