A new hand-wash timer from Equip Line aims to ensure workers wash their hands for long enough.

The HWT-20 is a "touch free" timer that simply requires workers to watch for 20 seconds. It acts as a visual tool to help employees conform to HACCP safety proceedures, gives customers the assurance that those employees have a procedure in place to maintain the correct standards and provides health inspectors with visual evidence of a company's commitment to safe and clean working practices.

The HWT-20 can be mounted on any surface and runs from two AA batteries.
