Fancy hiring a robot to load and stack pallets?
Factory-owners might be interested in i-Pal, a robot palletiser made by Dutch company Ivanhoe.
Factory-owners might be interested in i-Pal, a robot palletiser made by Dutch company Ivanhoe, and available in the UK from Orion Packaging Systems.
The i-Pal can work with cartons, trays, open-top cartons and other packaging. Its capacity is 20 products a minute and it can cope with sizes ranging from 200x150x80mm to a maximum of 600x400x400mm.
It is available for rent only, which means the i-Pal does not require the significant upfront investment a purchase would.
The machine consists of a spherical robot which, together with pallet conveyors and a pick-point, is mounted on a steel skid. On arrival, the unit can be simply rolled out of its shipping container and positioned at the end of the production line, ready for use. Its universal gripper head allows it to palletise a wide range of products and it is also equipped with an automatic pallet changing system for uninterrupted palletising and a continuous production flow.
