Keeping cool

Alfa Laval has produced a piece of equipment called AlfaBox, a compact unit that accomodates all necessary components for a refrigeration unit.

The AlfaBox is made up of a compressor, liquid receiver and controls, air condenser and a double row of fans.

The galvanised steel cabinet is finished with an epoxy paint and is welded to a solid frame with attachements for the liquid receivers, compressors and controls. The compact design ensures simple and rapid installation, according to its makers, and all parts are kept safe and protected.

Maintenance and service is simple because the mechanics can all be accessed through the sides of the cabinet.

Size and weight are kept to a minimum and optional extras include vibration dampers and sound absorbent lining.
