Technology has been appointed Britain's sole supplier of Hoegger, the Swiss manufacturer of meat and bacon presses. Hoegger has been developing meat processing machines for the food industry for the past 20 years.

Hoegger's presses adjust in three dimensions to ensure consistency of the meat width and thickness. One of the most popular models is the IP320, which has a flexible die.

Jim Sydenham, a director of Interfood Technology, said: "We are delighted to take on Hoegger's excellent product range which is a very natural fit to our existing product offering.

Interfood also supplies other big n ame brands such as Kilia, Vaessen Scho emaker Weber, Schroder, Wolf-tec Polar, Marlen, Poly-clip and Maurer.
