Ulma packaging
is to launch two new machines at this year's Processing and Packaging Machinery Association (PPMA) show at the NEC in Birmingham between 27-29 September.
The TF Supra Skin will make its PPMA debut, following its success at exhibitions across Europe this year. The new thermo-former produces an attractive pack with the product held firmly on a rigid base. It has a tight seal to stop slippage and enhance presentation. The infra-red top web heating system makes it quicker to start from cold, making it energy efficient and therefore cheaper to run. Visitors will also see Ulma's new Florida E which is being exhibited for the first time in the UK. It is an electronic version of the Florida flowrapper, and completes Ulma's conversion to electronic machines.
