Interfood wins distributor contract for Hoegger meat, bacon presses

 - Published:  23 June, 2006

INTERFOOD TECHNOLOGY has recently become the sole distributor in the UK and Ireland of the Hoegger range of meat and bacon presses. Swiss company Hoegger has been developing meat forming and pressing solutions for over 20 years, with systems in operation throughout the world.

One of Hoegger's most popular presses is the IP320, which ensures product consistency through adjustment in three dimensions, providing optimum control of product width and thickness. Another feature is the machine's flexible die, part of a quick exchange form system, which ensures minimum downtime when die changes are required.

Jim Sydenham, a director for Interfood Technology, said: "We are delighted to take on Hoegger's excellent product range which is a very natural fit to our existing product offering. It means we can now provide fully automated pressing, slicing and loading of bacon through combining Weber slicers, which now offer automatic portion loading systems, and the Hoegger presses."
