Avery Weigh-Tronix has launched two new weigh price labeller systems for the food industry. The M3000 and A3000 series offer customers economical labelling, said the company,
with features and data capabilities only found on larger, more expensive equipment.
The M3000 series is suitable for smaller volume production. It can store up to 8,000 label combinations and can print labels that are compliant with European labelling regulations. The labels are manually applied. The compact system can be used for applications where products may be oversized or irregularly shaped, or where production volumes do not warrant a fully automated solution, added the firm.
The A3000 series, an automatic version of the M3000 series, is suitable for high-volume labelling applications. It applies labels using an 'air jet' method that cannot harm even delicate package surfaces.
