Around 21 butchers have already entered MTJ's annual Champion of Champions sausage-making competition, which is due to take place at Butcher's Hall in London on 27 October.
Around 21 butchers have already entered MTJ's annual Champion of Champions sausage-making competition, which is due to take place at Butcher's Hall in London on 27 October.
Ed Bedington, editor of MTJ, said: "We are pleased with the number of entries for what should be a fiercely-contested position as Champion of Champions."
The competition, which is now closed, was open to anyone who had been declared a champion in one of the UK's many regional sausage competitions between
1 July 2007 and 30 June 2008.
The event is supported by BPEX, Lucas Ingredients and Colfan HL from Naturin/Viscofan.
