Pork guide to boost sales
BPEX's new guide to pork cuts has been launched to help consumers make the most of their pork.
From tasty glazed chops to fun kebabs and succulent roast joints, this handy guide provides a number of great ideas for pork dishes as well as cooking tips and advice.
The special publication is available free of charge for butchers to give away to their customers for inspiration - as well as encouraging sales.
Presented in a smart mini folder, the guide contains four separate leaflets, three of which detail different pork cuts; there is one for 'chops, steaks and slices', 'cubes, strips and mince' and also 'roasting joints'. Each leaflet provides information on the recommended cooking guidelines, top tips and some great serving suggestions too.
The guide also comes with an insert detailing the nutritional benefits of pork - vital information for today's health conscious customer.
The Guide to Buying, Cooking and Eating Pork will be of use to both butchers and their customers. It is free of charge and available on request by calling Jackie Hawkes on 01908 844 107 or emailing retailenquiries@mlc.org.uk.
