Showground work begins

Work has started on the expansion of the East of England Agricultural Showground's exhibition premises in Peterborough. The £7.8m project will see the construction of a clear span exhibition centre and atrium. Andrew Mercer, chief executive of the East of England Agricultural Society, owner of the showground, said: "We are delighted work has started."
