New home delivery
A NEW home delivery service taking fresh meat produce as well as other groceries to the doorstep of customers in North Yorkshire has been boosted with the help of a £26,000 grant from Defra's Rural Enterprise Scheme.
Crofter's Food is a new family run business claiming to supply top quality, local produce at affordable prices. Set up by Grahame and Jane Armitage, the company is managed from their home in Stokesley, North Yorkshire.
The service is similarly to an old-fashioned butcher, baker and greengrocer all rolled into one. Crofter's supply locally produced fresh and cooked meats, sausages and pies, cheeses, organic vegetables, fruit, bread, cakes and eggs as well as home-made a range of freshly baked cakes, quiches and puddings.
