Farm shop expansion

 - Published:  24 March, 2006

Sheepdrove Organic Farm's new butchery manager Stuart Minick is aiming to use his new role to expand the range of products and cutting techniques to the butchery line.

Mr Minick wants to expand the Bristol retail outlet with a dedicated delicatessen, introduce a new range of high-quality barbecue dishes, and expand the selection of dinner-party style prepared cuts of beef, pork and lamb.

Mr Minick said: "I wanted to come to Sheepdrove because of the way in which the beef market has changed in the past 10 years.

"It's good now to be able to put my hand on my heart and tell people where the meat has come from, how it has been grown and fed and where and how it has been slaughtered and processed."
