Conference to address global meat trends
Delegates at the 12th annual Langford Food Industry Conference will discuss the implications of global trends on meat production in the UK, it has been announced.
Delegates at the 12th annual Langford Food Industry Conference will discuss global meat production trends, it has been announced.
The conference, which is to be held at the School of Veterinary Science in Langford, near Bristol on 13-14 May, will identify global trends and assess what implications they will have for the UK.
Speakers will include include Chris Brown, agricultural director at Asda, and DEFRA head of livestock John Bourne.
The conference has been organised by the University of Bristol and the British Society of Animal Science and is being sponsored by EBLEX.
The registration fee for the two days, which includes refreshments and lunch, is £120 per person with a special conference dinner costing an additional £25 per person.
