The pie's the limit

Butchers and bakers from across the UK will be hoping for success in the first British Pie Awards.
The event, which is to take place in Melton Mowbray on 21 April, will see 12 different categories judged, before deciding which product will take home the Pie of Pies title.
Judges will include celebrities as well as pie experts, and include: TV chef Rachel Green; Sheila Dillon, presenter of the Food Programme on Radio 4; Tamasin Day Lewis, author of Queen of Tarts; Sophie Conran, author of Sophie Conran's Pies; and Ed Bedington, editor of Meat Trades Journal.
