Finalists revealed for top processing awards

Processing businesses big and small will be battling it out in Birmingham later in the year to claim top prizes in the prestigious Meat & Poultry Processing Awards.
Judging for the awards, which are organised by Meat Trades Journal, is now complete and three finalists are shortlisted in each category.

The glittering awards ceremony takes place at the Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham on 26 March.
The 2012 awards are again being supported by all the major industry bodies The Association of Independent Meat Suppliers, the British Poultry Council, the British Meat Processors Association, the International Meat Trade Association, the Provision Trade Federation and the Scottish Association of Meat Wholesalers.
This years awards are also being sponsored by a number of organisations, including Eblex, the Meat Training Council, the CDO Group, Bizerba and Foodex, the organiser of the UKs leading meat-processing event. Entertainment on the awards night is being sponsored by Systems Integration.
