Iceland recalls lamb amid salmonella fears

Frozen food retailer Iceland has recalled its own brand frozen lamb mince products as a precaution after salmonella was found in a test sample.
The retailer has issued a product recall and customer notices have been displayed in stores, explaining why the product has been recalled. Conusmers consumers can return it to the store for a full refund. However, as yet there is no warning on the company’s own website.
The affected 454g batches have a ‘best before’ date of 11 October 2012.
