Vets and farmers to discuss livestock health

 - Published:  16 January, 2012

Livestock farmers are invited to attend a debate organised by the National Farmers’ Union (NFU) and the British Cattle Veterinary Association (BCVA) to assess the health of the British herd.

The series of debates, called ‘UK livestock farming: In good health?’ will take place on 15 February in Warwickshire, and aims to tackle future health challenges for livestock farmers. Antimicrobial resistance, the use of medicines and the delivery of veterinary medicine are among the topics that will be discussed.

NFU members can register to attend the meeting on the union’s website. Around 30 members are needed to match the veterinary contingent.
