Cambrian lamb on menu at Clarence House

Cambrian Mountains lamb comes from a native sheep breed and is available seasonally from June through to January. It is produced by a group of farmers in mid-Wales, as part of the Cambrian Mountains Initiative, a not-for-profit organisation set up by Prince Charles to promote regional produce from traditional farms, boosting rural enterprise and protecting the environment of mid-Wales.

Guests at the reception included representative from Dunbia, Compass, Aubrey Allen, Danish Crown, Prime Meats and Brakes Bros, Harrods and Partridges of Chelsea.
 
Cambrian Mountains company manager Deanna Leven said: “His Royal Highness’ unfailing support has been terrific. The reception at Clarence House has afforded us a wonderful opportunity to showcase our lamb to top-quality meat and catering suppliers plus restaurateurs and food writers. We are thrilled with their responses and enthusiasm for the product.”
