Mettler Toledo offers versatile scales
Mettler Toledo has developed a new range of scales that are suitable for a variety of manual weighing tasks.
The company says its ICS range has been designed to make operation, maintenance and traceability simple and secure, which it claims results in “faster, more transparent processing”, as well as compliance with food industry standards.
The scales are constructed from stainless steel and double-sealed to ensure they can withstand regular high-pressure wash-downs. They are compact and portable, with a built-in battery and WLAN for quick pick-up-and-go, but rugged enough to withstand industrial environments. They feature colorWeight-enabled displays, which give immediate feedback if a portion is over- or under-tolerance.
The units are available with three different terminal-mounting options – compact, column-mounted or separate weigh terminal. Intuitive keypad and display screen choices range from basic digital read-outs to full-colour graphics. Multiple language options are also available.
