Welsh butchers offer holidays
Welsh butchers will be tempting in customers this autumn with the chance to win a farmhouse holiday.
Hybu Cig Cymru - Meat Promotion Wales (HCC) has teamed up with Carmarthenshire Farm and Country Holiday Group to give six lucky shoppers a break in one of 21 high-quality holiday properties located throughout the south-west Wales county.
Free entry forms are part of HCC's new autumn point-of-sale kits that have just been distributed to butchers and other retailers throughout Wales.
The marketing promotion highlights a set of heartwarming dishes to keep the new season's chill at bay.
Welsh Lamb recipes include: Warm Autumn Welsh Lamb Salad; Welsh Lamb, Potato, Leek and Fennel Gratin; and Curry Spiced Boneless Shoulder of Welsh Lamb.
The Welsh Beef recipes featured are Slow Braised Welsh Brisket Bourguignon, Spiced Welsh Beef Stuffed Pumpkin and Welsh Beef and Country Veg Pie.
