Scotts of Carshalton cooks for Nick Clegg

 - Published:  01 August, 2011

Catering butcher’s Scotts of Carshalton cooked a triumphant celebratory lunch for Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg recently, as part of the Liberal Democrats’ celebrations of 25 years of running Sutton Council.

Around 130 dignitaries attended the lunch at Carew Manor in Beddington in the London borough of Sutton, where Alan Dye and his team presented a gourmet three-course lunch. The event was hugely successful and Nick Clegg joined the team in the kitchens to congratulate them on a great day.

Scott’s won the bid to cater the event against ten other catering companies across the borough. The catering business was added to the family-run butchers’ shop more than 20 years ago and focuses on the quality sector of the market.
