British turkey bags

The natural jute shoulder bags are branded on both sides with the Red Tractor logo alongside the Quality British Turkey mark of approval, to remind shoppers to "try it with turkey". The bags are available free in exchange for proof of purchase of two British turkey items via its website: www.britishturkey.co.uk.

Catriona Lee, marketing spokesman for the British Turkey Federation, said: "The bag is tailor made for carrying home your Christmas turkey. But, like turkey, this bag isn't just for Christmas!

"We hope it will be used every week and encourage shoppers to buy British turkey throughout the year as there is now such a huge variety of cuts available in store. We want to both reward loyal shoppers and encourage them to eat this healthy and versatile meat all year round."
